Deerswood Meadow is a new wildlife area in the heart of Maidenhead.

The meadow, and the gardens around it, are home to one of the south of England's largest urban toad colonies. Over 1,500 adult toads are known to be present in and around here.

The meadow is managed by a partnership between RBWM, the owners of the land, and the Friend of Deerswood, a residents group.
