DONATE
Your donations help us do more for local wildlife by funding small but vital activities, such as installing bird boxes and planting wildflower seeds and bulbs, especially in areas not covered by larger, grant‑funded projects.

Bird Boxes
They also allow us to purchase bird-boxes for use in and around Maidenhead.
The boxes are bought from Bisham Nest Box group (BNBG), an experienced team of local volunteers, who build and can fit bird-boxes.
For example after a local farmer, who is working to make more space for nature alongside the day to day business of the farm, provided a tour for WM members; Wild Maidenhead paid for a Kestrel box to be built and fitted to one of his barns after he reported having seen a kestrel frequenting the farmyard.

Bulbs and wild flowers
Donations have helped us purchase bulbs and wildflower seeds for small areas of parks and other green spaces, which don’t yet have their own “Friends of” group with a grant to support them. (Always with the councils permission!).
This encourages pollinators and birds, and can brighten up otherwise overlooked areas.
Over the past few years Wild Maidenhead, supported by other local groups such as the GoodGym, have weeded, sown and planted in areas of Kidwells, Desborough and Ockwells Park.

Annual donation by standing order
It only takes a few minutes to set up a Standing Order with your bank to pay your annual donation. It makes a big difference to us as it significantly reduces the amount of volunteer admin time to chase up bank payments which have been forgotten.
The easiest way is to set up a standing order using your banking app on your smartphone or via online banking. Wild Maidenhead’s bank details to do this are below.

One-off payment via BACS (online bank transfer)
