Waterway litter clearance

Join Maidenhead Waterways and Canoe group and RBWM ranger for litter clearance in York Stream and the Cut. Further details to be confirmed by Maidenhead Waterways Group and will be shared with members via email.

Spring Walk

Exploring Maidenhead Thicket looking for all the wildlife signs of Spring.
Led by Martin Woolner and other local experts.

Waterways Walk

A guided walk along the town centre waterways, illustrating the wildlife, habitat and their management. Details to be arranged with Maidenhead Waterways Group.

Sunday 14th June (10.30 am-3.30pm)

Open Day at Bray Pit

Although open to the public this is a rare chance to see the wildlife of this small reserve in detail with those involved in the management.

There will be an exhibition with photos and live material and guided walks throughout the day. No need to book.

Some distance from nearest car park.

Combine your visit with refreshments at the Thames Hospice cafe.

Saturday 20th June

Walk and Wonder at the Wildlife in Braywick Park

Come to Braywick Park for a gentle walk and see the increasingly rich mix of plants and insects at the former landfill site. There will also be an exhibition at our base in the raised area of Braywick Park.

No need to book. Come when you like and stay for as long as you like.

Limited access. There are steep uneven steps up to the raised landfill
